Surplus Land

Surplus Land refers to land that is not currently needed to support the existing improvement but cannot be separated from the Property and sold off. Surplus Land does not have an independent Sweat Equity Sweat Equity refers to labor performed, or materials furnished, by or on behalf of the Borrower before closing on the Property being purchased. Tax Return Tax Return refers to a U.S. federal income tax return or, for Borrowers who reside in Puerto Rico, Guam, the Virgin Islands, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, or American Samoa and who are not required to file U.S.
