The Servicing Spread is the amount of compensation for Servicing a Mortgage that Freddie Mac pays to the Servicer, which Freddie Mac authorizes the Servicer to retain out of the interest portion of the Borrower’s monthly payment from each Mortgage. The Servicing Spread is the amount by which the Note Rate exceeds the Accounting Net Yield applicable to that Mortgage.
