Payment Supplement
The Payment Supplement is a loss mitigation option that utilizes Partial Claim funds to bring the Mortgage current coupled with the subsequent provision of a Monthly Principal Reduction (MoPR) applied toward the Borrower’s principal due each month for a period of 36 months to provide payment relief without modification of the Mortgage. The Payment Supplement is evidenced by a non-interest bearing Note, Subordinate Mortgage, and Payment Supplement promissory Note, given in favor of the Secretary, representing the total of all funds paid from the
