The Mortgage Servicer (Servicer) is the entity responsible for performing servicing actions on FHA-insured Mortgages/HECMs on its behalf or on behalf of or at the direction of another FHAapproved Mortgagee. Mortgagee In section I - Doing Business with FHA and section V - Quality Control, Oversight and Compliance, Mortgagee refers to both Title II Mortgagees and Title I Lenders, unless otherwise Title II Mortgagee).
