Cash-Released Xchange®

A contract option under which a Seller sells fixed-rate Mortgages under a Mandatory Cash Contract or a Best Efforts Contract and enters into a Concurrent Transfer of Servicing involving such Mortgages to a Freddie Mac-approved Servicer selected by Freddie Mac. Mortgages sold under this contract option may be referred to as “Mortgages sold servicing released.”
